It’s been posted a few times that images uploaded to snap.as and/or on the blog profile page may appear as coloured fine vertical lines.
This behaviour is also on some other platforms, not only on write.as/snap.as
Searching to understand where the problem originates I read that this may have to do with privacy.resistfingerprinting in firefox browsers. A privacy setting. Other browsers, chrome based, may also be affected apparently, depending on their privacy settings.

silly non technical me wonders why write.as/snap.as would use/need browser fingerprinting for images to properly upload to the platform?
