Request for & Recommendations for Secure email "Contact me"

I use an email alias from Proton to email me (so I can replace it if needed); but is there plan to have an email form as part of write.as? If not, and in the meanwhile, suggestions?

Is this email address for receiving replies to your posts / publicly sharing on your blog? Or just for your Write.as account?

Either way, we don’t have any plans for providing email through Write.as or the wider suite of products. There’s a lot involved with running a service like that commercially, and there are many options out there that can probably do it better. So something like Proton is always a good choice! Or there might be other options that people might have suggestions for.

Thanks, Matt.

The email is for receiving replies to my posts / publicly sharing on my blog.

Agreed, Write.as shouldn’t get into the email business; however, it seems a great feature to have a email form I can use to not make public my email (the form simply uses whatever email provider I have, much like the “subscribe” part of Write.as.

You can use Letterbird as a workaround. Signing up to Letterbird gets you your own contact page, that you can add a link to on your write.as site.

There might be a way to embed the Letterbird contact form on a write.as page itself with custom JavaScript, but someone will have to try it out.
