The Post Signature looks terrible in email (formatting is all over the place, sign-up forms obviously don’t display, etc.). Just remove that part from the emails that get sent out when a new post is published - please!

I’d be happy to make this change – mainly I’d just want to make sure that no one is relying on post signatures showing up in their emails, in case people would prefer the option to disable it there.
You’re probably right that a simple checkbox setting to prevent it from being included in the mail would be the least disruptive in case anyone is indeed relying upon it.
The post signature (especially if it has the subscribe form) is sort of all over the place, especially if it’s not just text. Below is one from my recent post in Gmail. I wish it wasn’t there b/c the rest of the formatting of the email looks decent.
