Not sure what’s going on or if I set something wrong. I’m using the Write.as custom domain but when I add the remark.as, I’m getting a json response of 404 Collection doesn’t exist. Anyone know what I setup wrong? here is the link to an example:

For future reference, I found the solution. It is an issue if you us a custom domain. The federation does not work with it so remark.as can’t find everything. When I switched the blog back to the write.as domain, it began to work.
I consider the issue irritating but resolved.
I actually use a custom domain and Remark.as works for me.
Remark.as was a letdown for sure. It sorta had potential but I think Matt either lost interest, the work was too intensive to move it forward (and led to inaction), or some combination of both.
I think there are other 3rd party, privacy focused comment solutions out there worth trying instead.

My subscription here was coming to an end and I didn’t have the control I wanted so I moved to my own self hosted. Decided on Cactus Comments at this point.
