The internet and micro blogging are sometimes just too fast to allow for consistently qualitative and well done posts.
I’d like to be part of a network where instead of ten thousand posts per day, only a high quality posts hundred were published.
And I think one way to do this could be to limit the amount of posts that anyone account can make per day and maybe even a mandatory delay between hitting publish and publishing a post - in order to incentives careful thought and consideration before putting something into the world.
Could these limits be added as configuration options to writefreely:
- POSTS_PER_DAY : Number of posts an account can publish per day.
- DELAY_BEFORE_PUBLISH: Delay in seconds between a post finished and published.
