There was no interest I could see, so after about 18 months I gave up and deleted the repo. There was an attempt to fork WriteFreely and make improvements, but that hasn’t caught on sufficiently to be viable.
If it’s not too much work to restore and you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to look at what you did so I’m not starting from ground zero.
