Make RSS feed autodiscoverable

Please make the RSS feed autodiscoverable on every page of a blog.

An old post of my blog has made it to the home page of Hacker News and is generating a lot of traffic, so far 6K view and counting. The post advocates for blogs to provide RSS feeds and, ironically, I was called out by a number of commenters because my blog’s feed isn’t autodiscoverable.

RSS autodiscovery should be a basic feature.

Thanks for mentioning this. Previously, RSS was only auto-discoverable on blog index and tag pages, but not post pages. It’s now auto-discoverable there, too (you may need to hard-refresh the page to verify).
