It seems like Airtel is blocking write.as and so as the custom domain when we point to your IP. What can be done?
@matt One of our tech guys figured out this problem
“Issue seems to be with IP reputation of the website”
I’m in trial phase and don’t know shall I pay for the long term subscription or not…
Hmm, so your site is entirely blocked when accessed through Airtel? Can you share a screenshot of what you see when you try to access your blog via its custom domain?
And which tool did they use to get those results? I’m not sure what Airtel might be using, but I believe Spamhaus has to do with email, not web access.
The site/ your IP is blocked on only Airtel cellular services. In fact everything like this forum has been blocked by Airtel Cellular services.
So it’s very hard for me or my clients to access my blogs on the go. I’m not sure how it can be resolved in our end.
Thanks for the information. Are you able to access the site with a browser like Chrome? Usually it provides more helpful error messages.
Also, we have alternative domains for countries where our site is censored. Just so I know, does https://writeas.xyz work for you?
In the meantime, I’m taking a look to see if there’s any way we can get Airtel to unblock us. It seems they’ve deployed some AI-based filter recently, so maybe we got caught up in it.
