It would be nice not to have to remember to manually add said tag for every single post.
Since you manually choose where exactly the “Read more” section goes, I’m not sure how you’d do this automatically. Maybe with an external tool, that e.g. adds it after the first paragraph or something?
Yes, having it done automatically after the first paragraph could be a good default.

@matt Now that I think about it, I basically want it to be exactly like read.write.as. The “Read more…” link seems to appear there automatically for every post.

you would somehow have to modify the css and i dont think in the templating section, i think read.write.as works that way because the css is applied as a stylesheet to that url.
in this case of what you want, im not sure how it would be executed if possible
