Is it possible to spoiler any text?

For example, in some Markdown implementations, you can spoiler a text with two pipes, like so: ||this text is spoilered||. Or, like so:

/spoiler

This text is spoilered.

The reason why I’m asking is because a new story I want to write is a bit darker than the usual stories I write, and I would like to spoiler the whole story since all stories are shown by default on the homepage of my blog.

(I’d love to change this to only show titles or the title & first paragraph if that’s a thing already.)

Spoiler tags are also great for CWs (content warnings).
