Introduce yourself & your blog 🙂

I’m Gary Bloom at gebloom.com and (occasionally https://mastodon.social/@gebloom.rss). I’m a retired marriage and family counselor, and I write about the mind (“All Realities Are Local”). I’m old and didn’t touch a computer until I was 32 and own one until I was 36. But I’m geeky enough to have formatted in LaTeX my and my wife’s how-to book on her career.

Hey all!

I’m an ardent believer in all things openness, and I used to be the VP of Community at Discourse, the forum software in use here. My full bio is on GitHub:

I write about open source product development at https://blog.erlend.sh/

My most recently updated post is part of a larger series about self-sovereignty and identity on the web from first principles:

@erlend_sh Great to have you here, I love Discourse.

Hey write.as Community

I’m Steve and have been on write.as for a bit over a year now. I write about a variety of topics, but have a couple of sites that have different topics of focus with some interoperability between them. My landing page has links to my sites and to my newsletter (Triangle of the Mind | :triangular_ruler: of the :brain:).

I’m a remote worker in the IT field of data & analytics. I am also a father of 6, which gives me a unique perspective on a lot of things that I’m eternally grateful to be able to observe and learn from my kids about the world and myself in the process.

Thanks for your time and would be grateful for any of you that subscribe to the newsletter or check out my writings.
