In-post anchors

Hi,

I’m trying to add anchors in my post so that people can easily scroll to the section they wish to read. What is the best way to do this, as I’ve tried multiple different options using java/html and haven’t had much luck!

Anchor links are supported in markdown and work on write.as/writefreely. Here’s 2 references:

# Anchors in Markdown

To create an anchor to a heading in github flavored markdown.
Add __-__ characters between each word in the heading and wrap the value in  parens ```(#some-markdown-heading)``` so your link should look like so:

```[create an anchor](#anchors-in-markdown)```
