I would like to ask for a feature update, which does some up-brushing of the sitemap.xml. At the moment it seems to contain only very basic information. To give Google Search a bit more, we could add text excerpts, image-titels and image-alt-caption etc. This should help to improve the visibility of ones blog in Google Search.
[Sorry, I am no expert in Google Search technology. But there sure are guides to name all the details which should be a part of sitemap.xml-files]
If you are using a custom domain then you can submit to Google and Bing also the RSS feed of your blog (e.g. https://yourblogdomainname.com/feed ) as per my experience it helps search engine crawling.

very good idea to submit RSS-fee-link to Google Search. I have done so and will observe the improvement. Thanks a lot for the hint! Happy new year!
