Hello. I’m currently trying out write.as. I could see myself using it as a blogging platform, but I won’t be using the text editor. When I copy/paste my text into the editor to publish a post, it does not paste the italics. Am I doing it wrong or is that just not an option?
As I type this out I realise that I could make the “_”-sign around the words I want in italics in my other text editor going forward. Like people used to do with typewriter manuscripts. I guess that would be a viable option for me.
Hi @intueor, so if you paste into the rich text editor - to access this, first click on the “W” symbol in write.as, and then select “Rich Text Editor”. Here you can copy and paste in outside formatted words.
If you’re using the “Plain Editor”, as you noted you can used the underscore symbol “_” surrounding words to italicize, along with “**” surrounding words you’d like to bold. Hope this helps
