GoToSocial account unable to follow my write.as

My GoToSocial account can find my write.as but when I follow, it is waiting for an follow approval from the write.as end…

I have seen similar forum discussions - Is this an IP issue or something else.

My GotoSocial is at [@]x0darkpadr3@neonsoup.social

I’m just going to bump this… if anyone has any idea how to make this work, it would be much appreciated.

Still waiting for some feedback or help on this issue. Gotosocial is gaining in popularity and I know of some others including myself who cannot follow their write.as blog on the platform. You can find the profile but it is marked as private. Clicking ‘follow’ results in a request that can’t be accepted.

But I’ll try to set up a GoToSocial account to see what’s going on.

Hi Matt,

I did some playing around and found that I can follow blogs on writefreely instances but not write.as… I still get that “requested” when I follow anything that is hosted on write.as.
