Fonts for RTL languages

Despite LTR languages, write.as uses user system default font for RTL languages.

I suggest using Vazir (Serif), Shabnam (Sans-Serif), and Vazir-code (Monospace) fonts. They’re open-source fonts that are already used as default in Plume, Mastodon, OpenStreetMap and Telegram.

Do you have any suggestion how to implement it? I have seen such implementation on Plume. Do you suggest the same approach?

In the meantime, you can load them up into Write.as or WriteFreely via Custom CSS to use them for your blog. There’s a forum post that highlights how to do this here:

Yep, you can definitely do that. Just use the @import like you’re doing already, include article in your CSS selector, and add !important, e.g.: @import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto'); body, article { font-family: Roboto, sans-serif !important; }
