Can someone point me to a 101 guide for Fediverse and write.as? I have several write as blogs, and am proving too dim to comprehend the Fediverse, how /why to navigate it. Thanks!
think of the fediverse as a bunch of small individual facebooks, or instagrams, or twitters, that can all see each others posts.
When you have a post on your blog that “federates” out to the Fediverse, all that means is that users on those servers can follow your blog, from their own already existing account on their server, and that your blog posts show up in their timeline just like any other social media post.
