Enhance preview

Write.as now has basic post preview functionality but, as I noted elsewhere, it is still missing important features. I would like the preview to render all the formatting and styling of a blog, including:

  • syntax highlighting of code blocks
  • clickable hashtags
  • MathJax
  • YouTube videos and other embedded media
  • blog theme and custom CSS

The preview, at least optionally, should appear in a separate page and not an overlay.

Bumping this. I’ve started writing again as fall is coming on in the northern hemisphere, and I find myself using the preview a LOT, but clickable hashtags and the blog theme / custom CSS aren’t there, which really limits the usefulness of the preview.

That’s not to say it’s not useful, it’s just that given a taste, I want MOAR!
