Hopefully, this wasn’t mentioned anywhere else: a forum search doesn’t seem to show any relevant result.
Is there a way to embed mastodon toots the same way we would embed tweets?
I have recently abandoned Twitter, but I am fairly active on Mastodon and I would love to be able to use a similar functionality.
Hi @Melyanna! You can embed toots by clicking on the details menu in a status (the . . . option) & choosing Embed. This will give you an iframe that you can copy & paste into your blog. You’ll have to do some styling of the iframe in order to make the height work but the embed functionality should work.

Well, iframe is discouraged element and depending on server setup might be even blocked - check if your site has following headers:
X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN
