you save all emails by an encryption key on the database.
just help us, we want to use this email in some process and we could not decrypt them by the same key.
we decide to remove any encryption on the email column.
could you please tell me what lines exactly replace or comment on writefreely version?
Hi @reza, anywhere you see calls to data.Encrypt() or data.Decrypt(), that’s where we’re running those operations on the email data.
I’m not sure what other development will be involved with removing encryption on that column, without trying it out myself. So there may be other pitfalls. But if you’d like to discuss a paid development project to investigate that for you, we’re always open to that.
