Comments on posts?

It would be nice to have an optional comments space for posts (checkbox in initial writing space) so the writer can decide if he/she wants to receive feedback on their writing and readers can leave comments accordingly

Hi Dee! We are working on a commenting solution called Remark.as that will fit with Write.as blogs. That is still down the pipeline. In the meantime I would recommend two embeddable options that people in the Write.as community have used:

  • Commento, an open-source commenting system that has a “name your own price” model. People can comment anonymously or through an account. Check out an example in Write.as here

  • Utterances, a commenting system based on Github issues. Anyone who makes a comment needs a Github account (which is a deal breaker for some). Check out an example in Write.as here.
