When viewing my blog from my fediverse account. I see that the avatar is the first letter of my blog. I’d like to be able to set a picture of my choice so it’s not so bland looking. I know blogs with images set the metadata in the post content but everyone of my posts have pictures.
There is some tracked progress on setting an account / blog’s avatar image, as well as image uploading in general (copy paste / drag and drop into blog editor). That’s all I know for now, I also wanted to customize the “federated look” of my blog articles. 
There was talk elsewhere on this forum about swapping out the /img/... files for each letter (but I assume it’s going to apply to all users with usernames starting with the same letter. I’ve held off on this myself, as It’s not crucial to me, and I’d rather wait for the official fix.
