I need to use the email to post feature. I made a new account and tested it out. My post didn’t show up and after some digging (literally, dig mx write.as) and use of telnet I saw that the SMTP server for write.as isn’t accepting connections.
I emailed support about this, but have only just realized that this is also using the same MX server, so I’m posting here. Is this something that someone already knows about?
As mentioned there, the post-via-email feature is currently offline, and I’m getting around to that as soon as I possibly can. I’m a one-man team, so things can take time, and this item was unfortunately lower on my priority list. I will update you when it’s fixed, which should be shortly.
Otherwise, there’s no issue with our support email – I’m receiving emails fine, including yours. You’ll notice that support emails happen on @write.as and post-via-email happens on @writeas.com (the broken one).
Just FYI, as always, our public forum is the preferred channel for support questions like this (please see our Support page). So I’ll let you know on this thread as soon as the post-via-email issue is fixed.
