# RemarkFreely/SnapFreely

It would be boss if Remark.as and Snap.as had self-hostable alternatives. I think having a small Snap.as gallery for me to control/contain myself, on a Raspberry Pi would be pretty neat. Everything with W.a/WF is written is GoLang, if I understand? I think Remark.as would spread far-er/wider this way, too 🙂

Unlike WriteFreely, it doesn’t seem like the code for Remark.as and Snap.as are open source. So a self host option is probably unlikely.

yes, that’s what I am suggesting! 🙂 Matt should open source R.a and S.a, and then people can self-host. I think it’d be pretty cool! 😃
