# Privacy policy?

Hey there,

I think I may be in the minority here, but I’m using the my Write.As blog as my business.

I’m wanting to link to a simple privacy policy.

Is there a way to amend the footer to link to [Write.As’s privacy policy](https://write.as/privacy)? I like what’s been written there, & feel like that’ll suffice for me for anyone who wants to know about privacy. (I think there may be a way to do this using the javascript section… non-techie here! 🙂 )

Or, @matt, is there a way you could otherwise add a little privacy note somewhere in the footer?

If I’m not mistaken, the JS method of adding a custom footer to your blog would help you accomplish this, no? [Here’s the most official](https://discuss.write.as/t/replace-published-with-write-as/1513/3) of a bunch of threads on this forum detailing the process…

If it helps, here is the entirety of what’s delivering the footer of [my blog](https://bilge.word) as of this moment within its “Custom JavaScript” text field:
