\<meta\> tags are useful in many situations. I recently created a blog that I needed to apply the [RTA (Restricted to Adults) label](https://www.rtalabel.org/index.html?content=howto#individual), in addition to a [“noindex, nofollow, noarchive”](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/robots-meta-tag) for Googlebot and other crawlers.

Of course it’s possible to inject \<meta\> tags through JavaScript, but I’ve always found that method clunky and, more importantly, a crawler unable to render JavaScript codes might ignore my tags altogether.

It would be tremendously helpful if we have the ability to add or edit \<meta\> tags on our own.
