I just tried to export my blog in a json format. I have two blogs, and for some reason it only exported one, and frustratingly not the one I want. This happened with both json and prettified. Is this unique to me?

Hi, can you share your username, either here or privately, so we can take a look at why this might be happening?

Plaintext

```auto
This is not unique to you. It usually happens because blogging platforms only export the currently active site/blog you are viewing, rather than all blogs under your account.
How to fix it:
1. Switch the active site: Look for a site-switcher menu in your dashboard, change to the blog you actually want, and export again.
2. Clear caching: If it keeps grabbing the wrong blog, try opening a private/incognito browser window, log in directly to that specific blog, and export.
```

Thanks for that but it those fixes don’t work for me (the blog is on a custom domain which means you can’t login to it directly). I’ve raised it here weeks ago and logged tickets with support but heard nothing. Being able to take a proper backup is a pretty fundamental requirement. But no response at all is pretty poor given that I’ve just paid upfront for a pro subscription. It makes me question their commitment to the project tbh. I guess I’d best start looking for a different solution, probably self hosted now as this is the second time I’ve been let down by a paid for service.

Sorry for the trouble @wotton, and the lack of response. We’ve had some other pressing issues lately that have taken up my time, but I will get to this as soon as possible. There’s likely a bug for smaller accounts with multiple blogs that needs investigating.

Note that with a blog on a custom domain, you should still be able to log into it by going to [https://write.as/blogname](https://write.as/blogname)

Yes, that’s how I logon to add/edit content. but, sadly it doesn’t work. It exports my two other blogs but not that one. ☹
