# Changing avatars

I’ve found “a” to “z” avatars in “img” folder. Since my blog name starts with “d” letter, the same letter avatar is shown. How can I change it for my custom avatar without any hacking?

Right now you could just change the `img/avatars/d.png` file to what you want (keeping the filename).

But we’ll support uploading a custom avatar via the UI ([development is tracked here](https://phabricator.write.as/T546)).
