Mastodon allows for a “green check” for verified ownership of websites/domains. Can’t get it to work with write.as following their instructions.

Thoughts? Anyone have success with this?

I managed to make it work, but I had to put the ref=me in the description of my blog. [DavePolaschek (@DavePolaschek@shytrr.com) - Shytrr](https://shytrr.com/@DavePolaschek) and [davepolaschek — Write.as](https://write.as/davepolaschek/)

Yep, I’ve done the same thing. Just put this in my description:

```auto
<a rel="me" href="https://writing.exchange/@matt">@matt</a>
```

Here, you’d replace:

- `https://writing.exchange/@matt` with your Mastodon profile URL, and
- `@matt` with whatever you want the link to show

doesn’t work for me. Maybe cause of the cross-origin error?
