# Blog export

Hi, is there an option to export a blog or set of posts for download?

There is! If you go to this [link](https://write.as/me/c/) it will take you to your dashboard. Hover over your username at the top left corner and you’ll find an option that says **Export**. At the time there’s options for exporting as a CSV. TXT, or JSON file. Hope that helps!

Would be cool if you could export it as a static site that you could post elsewhere, but I’m happy with the hosted version as is right now.

Really like this idea @triptych. What did you have in mind? Like putting the posts into a static site generator like Hugo or something to that effect?

Yes, exactly. So you could upload the whole blog to say a static hosting site, or viewable offline , embed in an electron app, etc. But yes, just like a static site generator.
