Could have implications for those developing Apps to work with WriteAs, while we are not aiming at children and young people, they may be using. So something to consider and take the lead on.

Given Wordpress constantly sends out e-mails trying to get peopple to buy upgrades etc, being on personaljournal.ca / WriteAs / WriteFreely is a real eye opener to the fact a service can be provided without this harassment.

Spot on. The privacy by default requirement (like the UK’s Age Appropriate Design Code) is pushing the whole industry toward what minimal, distraction-free platforms have been doing all along.

One of the best things about WriteAs / WriteFreely is that privacy and simplicity are built into the architecture—not treated as an upsell. WordPress’s constant upsell emails and bloat are exhausting by comparison. Building on a platform that doesn’t track, monetize, or spam its users gives a massive head start when it comes to compliance and user trust.
